August 21, 2023: Mr. Muhammad Nawaz, District Education Officer Dera Bugti  visited TF Grammar School Sui to review educational facilities and monitor school’s performance. He visited the computer lab, e-Lab and classrooms and interacted with the staff and students. He admired our young hearts and admired the self-assurance of the students who responded confidently during interaction. Ms. Kousar, Principal of the school briefed about the facilities, challenges and visionary aim of the Taaleem Foundation to upgrade the educational standard of the area. The District Education Officer, recognizing the laborious efforts of the school management, appreciated the conducive learning environment and praised the availability of computer lab and e-Lab that help meet the higher standards of quality education.He showed great interest in schools extra-curricular activities. They observed the science project competition and applauded the efforts of the staff

Independence Day celebrations were held at TAY school, Sindh with exuberance activities at school premises. The ceremony began with the flag-hoisting to mark the day of liberation from servitude.The school was decorated with zest and zeal to commemorate the quintessence of the freedom. The students participated enthusiastically with singing patriotic songs and performances that expressed well the true meaning of independence .

Staff members of the school shared in their patriotic chants to bequest their country with beautiful message. The enthusiasm of the school was manifested through dress code of white and green to uplift the independence vision.The school presented a beautiful display of Pakistani national flags, green and white colored balloons that enhanced the true spirit of national vigor . Students prepared a cultural show to exhibit the myriad colors of deep rooted cultures through colorful apparel. It showcased many cultural dances of the specific provinces which was appreciated by the audience . Different tabloos and skits were arranged to admire the sacrifices rendered by our national heroes of the subcontinent immigration and to inculcate the patriotic spirit in the young hearts of our blooming generation

Every year on August 14^th, Pakistan gets decked up in all its glory to celebrate its independence day with incredible pomp and show. Independence Day was celebrated with fervor and zeal at Taaleem Foundation Grammar Schools. All of the schools were decorated in spirit of patriotism and the laborious efforts were made by the teachers and students to celebrate this National event in a dignified manner. The ceremony commenced with flag hoisting at all schools. All of the staff members and students were dressed in white and green color to mark the celebrations with earnestness and passion. Students showed their sentimentality by making cards and posters to elevate the national spirit. Usual celebrity events included cultural events and playing of the patriotic songs. Every student heart throbbed with the sentiments of Patriotism and Unity. Some of the schools announced their mid-term results on such felicitous day of public spirit. Announcements of results provided the students to uplift their motivation to work hard and achieve their goals. All the staff members and students made their contributions to celebrate the Independence Day enthusiastically.

Peoples School, Tando Allahyar organized a captivating and engaging free summer camp for its students from July 7-14 July 2023. The summer camp aimed at providing students with a fun-filled, educational, and culturally enriching experience during the summer break. Primary objectives of the summer camp were fun-play and learn – learning through play, skill development in arts, crafts, sports, communication, and problem-solving.

The Summer Camp included a number of engaging indoor and outdoor activities to help students grow mentally and physically. Children enjoyed amazing art and crafts, story telling sessions, science  experiments, fire-less cooking activities, sports, Pool party, daily warm up exercises, meditation, motivation & counseling sessions on manners and etiquette.

This camp had a significant positive impact on the participants. Students not only enjoyed the recreational aspect of the camp but also benefited from the educational experiences. The camp’s engaging variety of activities helped students build self-confidence, and improve their social skills. The nurturing environment at the camp encouraged students to explore new interests and talents.

The parents of the participants appreciated the school’s efforts in organizing a well-structured and balanced program that catered to both fun and learning.

The school’s commitment to holistic education and experiential learning remained evident throughout the camp. Undoubtedly, the summer camp experience will leave a lasting impression on the participants, contributing to their personal and academic development in the years to come. The school management remains thankful to all the organizers and the well-wishers, whose contributions made it possible.

The School Syndicate meeting of TF Grammar School Kohlu was convened on 8th June 2023 to discuss and address several crucial issues pertaining to the school’s administration and facilities. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Ejaz Ahmed Jaffar, Deputy Commissioner Kohlu/Chairman School Syndicate. Miss. Waheeda Nasreen, Principal TF Kohlu, Mr. Abdul Sattar, A.C Kohlu, Dr. Asghar Ali Marri, M.S DHQ Kohlu, Mrs. Kalsoom Bibi, DDEO, Mr. Asghar Zarkoon from C&W Kohlu attended the meeting.

The meeting started with recitation from the Holy Quran. After the formal introduction of all the members, the Chairman welcomed the participants in the first meeting of School Syndicate.

The chair briefed the participants about formation and responsibilities of school syndicate. He further stated that TFGSS is a legacy of the bureaucracy and is an icon of merit and excellence in the promotion of education in such like tough and challenging tribal set up. The Principal TFGS briefed the participants about history and achievements of the school. She also informed that the Alumni of this institute are serving the country in all walks of life. It is also a pride for the institution that Lt Shaheed Jahangeer Marri was adorned with the jewel of education by this school. The chair and all the participants acknowledged and appreciated the role of TFGSS in the field of education in Balochistan. The chair specially recognized and applauded the selfless efforts and dedication of the Principal and all her staff for maintaining the greatest standards of quality education.

The  agenda of the meeting was included the change in members of the Syndicate, the electricity issue, provision of library books and water cooler, and the possibility of offering secondary classes for female students after passing 8th grade. While perusal of the school syndicate notification, it revealed to the participants that some of the members had been transferred from Kohlu, thus needing replacement. It was decided that Chairman BOD will be requested to revise the subject notification by replacing the transferred members with Dr. Shah Wali, Child Specialist and Mrs. Kalsoom Bibi DDEO(F) Kohlu.

The Chair was told that the district lacks educational facilities for higher classes and particularly for female students as the male students mostly go to Punjab after passing 8th class but the female students hesitate to go to other provinces for higher classes. It was also informed that till 2005 the school was providing educational facilities till Matric. The syndicate requested the higher management of TFGSS through this meeting to accommodate girls by starting Matric classes again.  In this way the girls of this backward district may get a golden opportunity of quality education and their talent may be saved from being spoiled.

In conclusion, the School Syndicate meeting was marked by constructive discussions and proactive decision-making. The chairman school syndicate, in collaboration with the other members, demonstrated a commitment to address the school’s pressing issues and work towards an enhanced educational environment.

7^th June 2023, Mr. Ejaz Ahmad Jaffar, DC Kohlu / Chairman School Syndicate at TF Grammar School Kohlu visited the school and distributed bags and uniforms among the deserving students. This generous donations came from OGDCL.

The primary objective of this donation was to support the educational needs of underprivileged students in Kohlu District. Ms. Waheeda, the principal identified deserving students based on certain criteria. The bags and uniforms were distributed to students in an orderly manner, with emphasis on maintaining discipline and providing equal opportunities to all deserving and hard-working students.

The distribution event was met with great appreciation and gratitude from the students and their families. The donated bags and uniforms will positively impact the educational journey of these deserving students by reducing financial constraints and fostering a sense of belonging.

The school management expressed its heartfelt gratitude to the OGDCL for their generous donations and their commitment to the welfare of marginalized communities. They also extended their gratitude to Deputy Commissioner Kohlu for his valuable time and appreciation.

The principal wished that such initiatives should be continued to uplift educational standards and empower the youth of the region.

6^th June 2023 – During her inception visit to the region, Ms Shagufta Noreen, the Chief Operating Officer (COO), called on Rana Saleem Ahmad Khan, the Secretary Education South Punjab, to extend her heartfelt gratitude for the secretary’s unwavering cooperation and to share the update of the project. She COO acknowledged the instrumental support of his kind office in ensuring a smooth execution of the initiative.

Ms Noreen gave a brief introduction of Taaleem Foundation that it is an established development organization, working in the fields of education, health, social mobilization, vocational skills,  climate change, biodiversity, and ad-Tech for integrated community development.

Further talking about the current project she mentioned key milestone achieved, such as identification of the schools, assessment of missing facilities, the establishment of e-learning centers, introductory session of e-Learning with teachers and students, meeting with stakeholders, etc. She explained how this project will change the fate of the children through quality of education and the enhanced learning experiences.

Dr Anees Farooqui Project Director Taaleem Foundation also lauded the Secretary of Education for his support for the project’s smooth functioning and shared his amazing experience regarding recent introductory sessions with students and teachers of tehsil Jahanian, Khanewal.

During the meeting, both parties discussed the project’s future plans, expansion and explored the other avenues for collaboration, such as e-Learning summer camps, online classes by engaging Gov sector best subject specialists, digital learning platforms & apps.

Mr. Ahmad expressed his commitment to continued collaboration and cooperation with Taaleem Foundation, to sustain the momentum of the project’s success.

The meeting served as a testament to the strong partnership and mutual appreciation between the two entities. It reinforced the shared vision of transforming education and affirmed the commitment to continue working together for the betterment of students and the advancement of the education system in the area.

June 4,2023 -Taaleem Foundation – known for its commitment to education and technological advancements, has taken a remarkable leap forward in transforming its educational landscape in the form of e-Schools in district Khanewal with the support of Rehmat Foundation. Today, it has deployed the first e-School facility in the province of Punjab, by transforming the conference room at the office of DDEO Jahanian into “Teachers’ Training Facility”, using interactive conceptual learning through e-School technologies and digital resources.

The facility has been greatly used for not only giving orientation to the EdTech solution but also to train a good number of educational managers, and senior teachers of Tehsil Jahanian in district Khanewal. The excitement was visible on the bright faces of the teaching faculty who found the digital content very useful to help them clarify the conceptual learning while conducting their classes.

On 3^rd June 2023 Ms. Shagufta Noreen, COO along with her team undertakes extensive consultative meetings with the key stakeholders of the project: “Quality Schooling for the Vulnerable: e-School Solution for Khanewal”. The team comprised Dr Anees Farooque (Project Manager) and Mr. Imran Khalil (Technology Support Officer). Ms. Fatima from Rehmat Foundation also joined the team.

The team on Mr. Muhammad Sohaib, the Chief Executive Officer of the District Education Authority in Khanewal and Dr. Sumera, the Deputy District Education Officer Jahanian. Mr Sohaib warmly welcomed the team on behalf of School Education Department. He was very curious and excited about the upcoming technology intervention. Ms Noreen briefly described the project objectives, scope of work, selection of schools, and proposed interventions for the deployment of an e-school system in the district.

The meeting commenced with an overview of the project’s primary objectives, emphasizing the urgent need to leverage technology for enhancing educational outcomes and addressing the challenges faced by traditional classroom settings.

The scope of work was then discussed in detail. It was determined that the e-school system would be implemented in a phased manner across selected schools within the district. The initial phase would focus on primary schools with the possibility of expansion to higher education institutions in subsequent phases in other schools of the district.

The COO shared project key components, including the development of a robust online platform with a comprehensive curriculum, interactive learning materials, teachers training and missing facilities. The platform would also facilitate virtual classrooms, enabling students to engage with teachers and peers, fostering collaborative learning experiences.

The meeting concluded with a shared commitment from the School Education Department to work closely towards executing the project effectively. With ongoing collaboration and dedication, the project is poised to create a positive and lasting impact on the education sector, shaping the future of learners.
