Parent Teacher Meeting (PTM) plays a crucial role in enhancing a child’s education. Often dreaded by children, parent teacher meeting is an effective way for parents and teachers to interact and discuss about their child’s progress. Parents on the other hand can play an active role in their child’s education and can further encourage and influence their child to do well in school

At TF Grammar Schools we make sure that PTMs are duly arranged after each exam however frequent meetings are also encouraged to keep a regular check on student’s progress. We also request parents to join these meetings with priority

A parent Teacher Meeting for classes I to X was held on 11th March 2022 to discuss the performance of students with their parents. Parents were given feedback on their children’s performances.

It was a great interaction between the teachers and the parents for the development of their children where they discussed both the strengths and areas of improvements. The progress report shown to the parents and their suggestions were noted.

The PTM came to an end with the conclusion that joint effort, mutual understanding and co-operation of parents and teachers is very important for the proper nourishment and progress of students.

On 7th March 2022, TF Zhob arranged a ceremony to award PEEF scholarships for the academic year 2021 to the students of 6th class. This year 9 girl students qualified for the scholarships. Mr Jarullah Jalalzai Assistant Commissioner Zhob distributed the scholarship amount among the winners. He visited all the classrooms, e.labs, computer labs, Science labs and appreciated the standard & facilities provided by Taaleem Foundation. He ensured his support for school management in all matters for the betterment of the institution.

TF Grammar School Zhob celebrated the spring festival on 30th March 2022 with great enthusiasm. The campus was decorated with colorful hangings, flowers, kites, and balloons, depicting the theme of spring. Stalls on food and drinks and face painting were also set up at the festival whereas the culture of all provinces was highlighted by the students in an interesting manner by wearing each of the traditional dresses of the provinces in a dress show. The students wearing colorful dresses enjoyed the whole fun.

Mr. Ramzan Pallal, the Deputy Commissioner of Zhob/Chairman School Syndicate was the chief guest of the event. The other honorable guests Mr. Samad Harifal, District Coordinator of EU Project, and Mr. Zafar Shah, District Health Officer also accompanied him.

The program started with the recitation of the Holy Quran. The students also presented humorous skits and received accolades from the audience.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Ramzan Pallal said that education in this institution is imparted in accordance with the requirements of modern times, where students learn quickly. It is gratifying to see the children’s progress that they are moving fast in modern times and are also aware of the challenges they face. He also distributed certificates and prizes among the BOE position holders. He appreciated the Taaleem Foundation for introducing a separate Board of Examination to ensure transparency in the examination system.

The Virtual University of Pakistan signed an MOU with Taaleem Foundation on 18th March 2022, by virtue of which the VU would establish its campuses in the premises of TF Grammar Schools at Loralai, Mastung and Zhob during the academic year. This will give students of Balochistan an opportunity to get national level education at an affordable cost. The two sides agreed on accomplishing ambitious and mutually beneficial achievements in Balochistan. Both institutions aim at educating and uplifting the marginalized communities by providing quality education at their door step.

On 17th March 2022, TFGS Pishin children celebrated the spring season. During the course of the events, students recited Hamad, Naat apart from singing national songs like ‘Dil Dil Pakistan’ and many others. They sang the songs of friendship with the moral lesson that we should spread friendship and love instead of hatred and animosity. The students raised awareness among audience through staging drama on the importance of planting trees

At the end, some female students were given the scholarships awarded by the Punjab Education Endowment Fund (PEEF) for their brilliant academic performance during 2021.

On 17th March 2022, TFGS Kila Saifullah celebrated Plantation Day to create awareness among the young minds about the invaluable resource on our planet – Plants and Trees. All the students and teachers participated in this program.

Honourable guests Deputy Commissioner Hafiz Muhammad Qasim, DEO Faizullah Kakar, the member of School Syndicate Mr Gohar Khan Jogezai and Social Welfare Officer Hidayat Rahman, Principal, teaching and non-teaching staff and students from all grades participated in the tree plantation activity with great enthusiasm.

The fun-filled activity of tree plantation planned by the management of the school was conducted in order to educate everyone, specially the children of the school to stay connected to their roots and know their responsibility towards protecting ‘Mother Nature’.

On 16th March 2022, TFGS Muslim Bagh celebrated the Annual Cultural Day. Students were wearing cultural dresses to represent their culture. Speeches and skits were also part of the event. Principal said the event was meant to instill cultural awareness in schoolchildren and an understanding of different traditions and norms that abound all around us is important as it helps children appreciate diversity and builds tolerance.

All the students participated in the event with great enthusiasm. They were dressed in traditional outfits of that area, the students talked about the traditional foods. They presented small skits and each segment ended with a traditional song and dance from the region.

International Women’s Day was celebrated in TF Grammar School Sui to recognize the contribution and significance of the women. The celebration began with a song dedicated to the women who are role model for our society. It was followed by tableau and speeches by the students to appreciate the role and importance of women in life’s various domains. Girl students represented different professions to encourage women to work hard and gave message that women are not weak.The program highlighted the message about competency of women, Intellectual capacity of women as capable of holding high responsibility as efficiently as men can do.

On 2nd March 2022, TFGS Sui participated in the Inter-school Debate, Speech and Quiz Competition organized by Sui Model school & Girls College. The competition was put together to mark the international Womens day and encourage girl students to gain confidence and general knowledge. TFGS Sui team comprising three students competed against three schools making it.

The students were recognized particularly for their speaking our school’s first attempt in this competition and students were given limited time to prepare.

Ayesha Khalid from class 6th and Sadeema Fatima from class 9th participated in the speech competition; Sadeema Fatima secured 3rd position in this competition. Two students Bhoomika from class 8th and Sadeema Fatima participated in quiz competition and got 2nd position. Position holders were awarded cash prizes of PKR7000 along with the certificates.
