10th May 2024: Ms. Shagufta Noreen, the Chief Operating Officer of visited the schools of Pakistan MINT in Lahore. During her visit, she observed the operations, including classroom dynamics, administrative procedures, and the overall school environment. Engaging in detailed discussions with the school staff, she sought to understand their challenges and explore avenues through which TF could support them in enhancing both academic standards and the school environment. Later, she held a meeting with the Director-General, Mr. Muhammad Ashraf, to discuss and strategize on how TF could contribute to their revitalization and academic advancement.
On May 7, 2024, District Session Judge Tando Allahyar Ms Mahrukh Rasheed made an surprise visit to the People School. During her visit, she meticulously assessed the institution’s operations, from classroom dynamics to administrative procedures, including the conduct of final exams.
Impressed by the strides taken, she commended the school’s enhanced security measures, disciplined atmosphere, and improved aesthetics. She lauded the efforts evident in the upgraded exterior security barriers and the meticulous landscaping, expressing her gratification with the overall transformation.
TFGS Sui organized a productive PTM on the 5th of May, aimed at enlightening parents about their children’s performance in the first bimonthly exams.
During the meeting, the school administration, along with teachers, presented a detailed analysis of the exam results. Parents were provided with individualized feedback on their child’s academic performance, highlighting areas of strength and areas that require improvement.
The PTM served as a platform for constructive discussion between parents and teachers, fostering a collaborative approach towards the holistic development of the students. On 4th of May 2024 Taaleem Foundation held its 34th Meeting of the Board. Chaired by Dr. Zafar Iqbal Qadir, the meeting commenced with a solemn recitation from the Holy Quran, setting a tone of reverence and reflection. With decorum in place, the chairman obtained unanimous approval of the minutes from the previous meeting, extending gratitude to all participants for their active engagement and insightful contributions.
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) took the floor next, delivering a comprehensive update on the foundation’s field operations, shedding light on the progress made and the challenges encountered. Following suit, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) presented a succinct overview of the organization’s financial accounts, ensuring transparency and accountability in fiscal matters.
Thereafter Mr. Asim Mushtaq elucidated on the overall progress of the foundation, highlighting milestones achieved and milestones ahead. He expounded on new avenues of partnership, emphasizing collaborative efforts to expand the foundation’s impact and outreach.

TF Schools recently organized a vibrant plantation drive, igniting immense enthusiasm among participating students and fostering a profound sense of responsibility. The primary aim was to instill awareness about maintaining a healthy environment, achieved through engaging students in hands-on activities like planting saplings and watering them. Alongside, students crafted captivating play cards adorned with animated phrases to promote tree planting awareness, showcasing their creativity and dedication to the cause.
The involvement of students, teachers, and support staff in this tree planting campaign underscores a grassroots commitment to environmental conservation. As saplings found their new homes in the soil of school campuses. Such collaborative efforts promise to make a lasting impact on the landscape, fostering a legacy of environmental consciousness for generations to come.
TF launches a “Women Skill Centre” at Dera Bugti with the support of OGDCL. Mr. Azhar Shehzad, DC Dera Bugti inaugurated the centre. The ceremony was attended by Mr Abdul Razzaq Bugti, District Education Officer, notable figures, media representatives and Mr Khadim Hussain Bugti from OGDCL. This initiative is poised to make a significant impact on the community by fostering self-sufficiency and financial stability among women in the region.
During his remarks to the media, Mr. Azhar Shehzad highlighted the centre’s primary focus on enhancing income generation skills among local women. He admired the enrollment of more than 80 girls that reflects the interest of local women in learning employable skills. The initiative aims to empower women by equipping them with valuable skills, enabling them to produce vocational goods of export quality. The program will run for four months and will include training in sewing, cutting skills, dress making, computer courses, English language proficiency, and introductory courses in e-commerce.
Mr Haroon Faisal, the Project Lead from Taaleem Foundation emphasized the organization’s commitment to empowering local women. Mr Jaiser Rahim Narejo, Manager Production at Peer Koh Gas Field OGDCL, highlighted the collaborative efforts between the Taaleem Foundation and OGDCL in launching this initiative. The program is expected to uplift the socioeconomic status of the women participants and contribute to the overall development and prosperity of Dera Bugti.
Pakistan Resolution Day, also known as Yaum-e-Pakistan, holds a special place in the hearts of every Pakistani. On this significant day, TF Schools joined the nation in commemorating the Lahore Resolution passed on March 23, 1940.
Amidst a backdrop of national flags and vibrant decorations, TF schools came alive with the spirit of unity and patriotism. Throughout the day, students engaged in various activities and events to honor the occasion. From heartfelt speeches highlighting the importance of the Lahore Resolution to engaging discussions about the values it represents, students gained a deeper understanding of the significance of this historic day.
Additionally, TF schools organized special assemblies where students showcased their talents through poetry recitations, national songs, and skits depicting the struggles and triumphs of Pakistan’s journey towards independence.
Marking the historic occasion of Pakistan Resolution Day, People’s School TAY resonated with patriotic fervor as students and staff actively participated in commemorating the Lahore Resolution of 1940.

Muzaffarabad – 8th March 2024: Taaleem Foundation is operating 10 vocational skill centers in AJK with partial support from Islamic Development Bank (IsDB). In order to enhance the capacity of these centers, Ms. Masooma Tiwana, President/CEO of American Medical Equipment Inc, USA has generously donated 31 sewing machines and allied equipment. More than 500 artisans are already associated in the program. The number of trainees would increase, enabling these households to improve their disposable family income. The ripple effect of empowerment is poised to sweep through the region. Not only does this initiative provide essential skills training, but it also offers a lifeline for sustainable livelihoods, particularly for the female community.
However, the impact of this endeavor extends far beyond the realm of skills development. By reducing reliance on forest resources and mitigating the need for tree cutting, we’re taking tangible steps toward conserving our precious habitat and combating the looming threat of climate change.
TF Sui celebrated International Women’s Day on March 8th, 2024, with great enthusiasm. Teachers and girl students came together to honor the achievements and contributions of women worldwide.
