YKK, a global leader in fastening products, has generously donated 1000 high-quality zippers to support the ongoing bag-making initiative at TTC Kharan, a project managed by Taaleem Foundation. This critical support is set to enhance the quality and market competitiveness of the bags produced by 20 local trainees, empowering them to increase their income and improve their livelihoods. The donation ceremony took place at YKK office Karachi, where YKK’s Managing Director, Mr. Yamahkochi, and General Manager, Mr. Maveed Asghar, presented the contribution in the presence of Asim Mushtaq, CEO of Taaleem Foundation. The event marked a key collaboration aimed at bolstering local skills development and income-generation activities in the Kharan region. This partnership aligns with YKK’s corporate social responsibility goals of empowering local communities through skill development and economic opportunities.
