Quetta – 27th February 2024 – Taaleem Foundation Health Initiative (TFHI) in collaboration with Icore Business Solutions, completed a seven-day intensive training program for Community Midwives. This training session is part of the World Bank funded ‘Balochistan Human Capital Investment Project (BHCIP-H)’.
The training, designed meticulously to cover comprehensive aspects of Pregnancy, Childbirth, Postpartum, and Newborn Care, aimed at enhancing the competencies of healthcare providers. By focusing on practical experiences in health facilities and continuous medical education linked to the Human Resources for Health (HRH) database, the initiative is a giant leap towards advancing the healthcare landscape in Balochistan.
Dr. Nasreen Kakar the lead master trainer, emphasized, “By empowering our midwives with the latest knowledge and skills, we are laying the foundation for a healthier future for all.” The initiative received widespread acclaim from participants and stakeholders alike, who praised the program for its comprehensive approach and practical training modules.
