Kharan, February 24, 2025 – The Technical Training Centre (TTC) Kharan held a tree plantation campaign on Monday, with active participation from both the male and female wings of the institute. The goal was to make the campus greener and raise awareness about the importance of trees.
The Forest Department of Kharan District donated 1,000 plants for the campaign. Students, trainees, and staff members eagerly took part, planting trees across the campus with great enthusiasm.
TTC Kharan’s administration highlighted the benefits of tree plantation for the environment and thanked the Forest Department for its generous support. They also appreciated the efforts of all participants in making the event a success.

Taaleem Foundation, staying true to its mission of empowering communities, particularly young women, has taken a bold step to foster financial independence and entrepreneurial growth. In partnership with Rehmat Foundation, the organization launched a skills development initiative tailored for women in Jahanian village, providing practical training and exposure to diverse opportunities.

This program offered hybrid learning platforms and arranged a visit to Islamabad’s Lok Virsa, giving participants cultural insights and inspiration for creative business ventures. Training workshops were also held on entrepreneurship, e-commerce, and digital skills to help participants thrive in today’s evolving economy.

As a result, these determined women are now operating a service lab established by Taaleem Foundation in Jahanian City—the first of its kind in the region. Through this platform, they are putting their newly developed skills to work, offering valuable services to the local community and beyond.

On May 3, Ms. Shagufta Noreen, Chief Operating Officer of Taaleem Foundation, visited the lab. She had an in-depth discussion with the women, sharing practical advice on expanding their reach, building stronger community ties, and tapping into new business opportunities. Her encouragement reinforced their drive to scale the project for broader community impact.

February 2025 – Taaleem Foundation has proudly revitalized the traditional craft of Kashmiri embroidery, reconnecting artisans from Azad Jammu and Kashmir with their rich cultural heritage and equipping them with sustainable livelihood opportunities.

Across all AJK Skill centers, artisans received intensive training to master intricate Kashmiri embroidery techniques, refine artistic detailing, and modernize color combinations—while preserving the authenticity of this treasured art. On February 13, they proudly completed their first assignment, showcasing their exceptional craftsmanship and earning well-deserved cash incentives. This milestone was celebrated with encouragement from Ms. Noreen, Chief Operating Officer, and Mr. Tahir Malik, Director Skills.

Tando Allahyar: The STEAM Muqablo Event 2025 turned the spotlight on youthful brilliance and creativity at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Tando Allahyar on January 16. Taaleem Foundation Holds 35th Board of Directors Meeting
The 35th Board of Directors meeting of Taaleem Foundation took place on 27th December 2024, at the TF Head Office and online via Zoom. The meeting was presided over by Dr. Zafar Iqbal Qadir, Chairman of the Board.

The session was attended by key board members and the foundation’s core leadership.

The meeting began with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by a review and approval of the minutes from the previous meeting held on 4th May 2024. Among the major agenda points were:
Approval of the 2023 Annual Audit Report.
A detailed report on field operations by the COO, which covered developments in the TF Grammar School System, TF Supported Schools, and new interventions.
The CFO’s presentation on finance, compliance, and the proposed budget for 2025.
Updates by the CEO on ongoing programs and new initiatives, with a focus on business development and organizational progress.

Quetta, December 28, 2024: HAZZA Institute of Technology and Taaleem Foundation, under the Chief Minister’s Youth Skill Development Program, organized the first-ever interactive street theatre in Quetta. The event aimed to promote soft skills among trainees through an engaging and culturally resonant medium.
