6th June 2023 – During her inception visit to the region, Ms Shagufta Noreen, the Chief Operating Officer (COO), called on Rana Saleem Ahmad Khan, the Secretary Education South Punjab, to extend her heartfelt gratitude for the secretary’s unwavering cooperation and to share the update of the project. She COO acknowledged the instrumental support of his kind office in ensuring a smooth execution of the initiative.
Ms Noreen gave a brief introduction of Taaleem Foundation that it is an established development organization, working in the fields of education, health, social mobilization, vocational skills, climate change, biodiversity, and ad-Tech for integrated community development.
Further talking about the current project she mentioned key milestone achieved, such as identification of the schools, assessment of missing facilities, the establishment of e-learning centers, introductory session of e-Learning with teachers and students, meeting with stakeholders, etc. She explained how this project will change the fate of the children through quality of education and the enhanced learning experiences.
Dr Anees Farooqui Project Director Taaleem Foundation also lauded the Secretary of Education for his support for the project’s smooth functioning and shared his amazing experience regarding recent introductory sessions with students and teachers of tehsil Jahanian, Khanewal.
During the meeting, both parties discussed the project’s future plans, expansion and explored the other avenues for collaboration, such as e-Learning summer camps, online classes by engaging Gov sector best subject specialists, digital learning platforms & apps.
Mr. Ahmad expressed his commitment to continued collaboration and cooperation with Taaleem Foundation, to sustain the momentum of the project’s success.
The meeting served as a testament to the strong partnership and mutual appreciation between the two entities. It reinforced the shared vision of transforming education and affirmed the commitment to continue working together for the betterment of students and the advancement of the education system in the area.
