Sindh Cultural Day at Peoples School Tando Allahyar

Pakistan has rich and diverse cultures and different ethnic groups including the Punjabi, Kashmiri, Sindhi, Balochi, Pathan, and Balti etc. to celebrate the diversity of culture.

Sindhi Cultural Day is a popular Sindhi cultural festival. It is celebrated with traditional enthusiasm to highlight the centuries-old rich culture of Sindh. The day is celebrated each year during early December. The Sindhis celebrate this day to demonstrate the peaceful identity of Sindhi culture and acquire the attention of the world towards their rich heritage.

Peoples School at Tando Allahyar, operated by Taaleem Foundation, celebrated the rich Sindhi culture on 10th of December 2022. The school was decorated with traditional Ajrak and other local handicrafts. Everyone came in the brightest cultural and traditional costumes they could find. Even the teachers were dressed in traditional outfits. Students from different classes delivered speeches, sung songs, performed on regional songs and did short skits for the audience. In the end, the Principal appreciated the teachers and students for making this event memorable.
