Scholarships

Taaleem Foundation, in collaboration with some institutional (such as Pakistan Petroleum Limited - PPL) and private donors, provides scholarships to deserving TF students who score top positions in Grade VIII at the TF Board of Examination each year.

Taaleem Foundation facilitates students in obtaining admissions into the best boarding schools of Pakistan and bears expenses of tuition and boarding for the next two years (Grades IX-X).

Further scholarships are also arranged for another two years (Grades XI-XII) for the students who score at least 80% marks in their annual examination of Grade X.

The scholarship is, however, revoked if the student fails to maintain an acceptable threshold of 80% marks in the annual Board examinations.

The students of Taaleem Foundation have been able to study in Lawrence College, Ghora Gali (Murree), Sadiq Public School (Bahawalpur), Pak Turk Schools in Islamabad and Lahore, various Cadet Colleges and Pakistan Military College, (Sui).

The scholarship is also extended to students who want to study in a local college or school due to personal reasons.

Cost for sponsoring top scoring students in leading boarding schools of the country is estimated to be around US$ 5,000 (PKR 500,000) per student for a term of two years. Detail of scholarship options is however, provided as follows:

Scholarships (class IX-XII): US$ 5,000 (PKR 500,000) per student at a boarding school for a term of two years
Adopt a Child (class I-VIII): US$ 200 (PKR 20,000) per student per annum
Adopt a Class (I-VIII): US$ 6,000 (PKR 500,000) per class (30 students) per annum
Adopt a School (class I-VIII): US$ 100,000 (PKR 10,000,000) per school (500 students) per annum

Mr. Naseem Khan s/o Mr. Muhammad Ashraf, resident of Loralai, joined Taaleem Foundation Grammar School Loralai from class 2 till 8th class. Upon securing a position in the top three positions in the annual Taaleem Foundation Board of Examination of the year 2009 he was sponsored by Taaleem Foundation to study at Pak Turk International School and College (Boys section) Islamabad. He continued his studies from Class 9th and now he is awaiting his result for F.Sc 2nd Year.

Mr. Zulqarnain Ali Haider s/o Mr. Gul Khan, resident of Zhob, started his education from Taaleem Foundation Grammar School Zhob till 8th class. Upon securing a position in the top ten positions in the annual Taaleem Foundation Board of Examination of the year 2009 he was sponsored by Taaleem Foundation to study at Pak Turk International School and College (Boys section) Islamabad. He continued his studies from Class 9th and now he is awaiting his result for F.Sc 2nd Year.

Miss Fauzia Bibi d/o Mr. Rahim ud Din, resident of Killa Saifullah, started her education from Taaleem Foundation Grammar School Killa Saifullah till 8th class. Upon securing a position in the top ten positions in the annual Taaleem Foundation Board of Examination of the year 2009 she was sponsored by Taaleem Foundation to study at Pak Turk International School and College (Girls section) Islamabad. She continued her studies from Class 9th and now she is awaiting her result for F.Sc 2nd Year.

Mr. Zafar Hanif s/o Mr. Muhammad Hanif, resident of Sui (Dera Bugti), initially started his schooling from Taaleem Foundation Grammar School Sui. Upon securing a position in the top ten positions in the annual Taaleem Foundation Board of Examination of the year 2010 he was sponsored by Taaleem Foundation to study at Pak Turk International School and College (Boys section) Lahore. He at the moment is in F.Sc 1st year.

In such case, we pass on the bank account details of the boarding school, so that payment could directly be made to the school, where the child is studying. Taaleem Foundation undertakes to regularly update the sponsors / donors about the progress of the student concerned.
